What are composite veneers?

Composite veneers, also known as ‘bonding’, is a cosmetic dental option to improve the shape, colour, position and size of teeth 🦷

A resin material (composite) is applied directly to the tooth (or teeth) and is moulded by the dentist into the appropriate shape and then set with a blue light. It is then further shaped and polished.

The advantage of composite veneers is that they can usually be done without removing any enamel or tooth structure.

These differ from traditional veneers which are made from porcelain in a lab.

This was accomplished with Invisalign and Zoom in-office whitening. The patient then also wanted to change the shape of her teeth. In order to get more aesthetic proportions, 6 composite veneers were placed by our principal dentist 🤩
