Will a dummy damage my child’s teeth?

As most mums know dummies or pacifiers can be a lifesaver! Dummies are a great way to help soothe babies and children and can come in handy during those terrible tantrums 😅

However prolonged use can affect growth and development. Longer use increases the chance that the structure of the mouth and jaw can alter.

Every parent knows their child best, when you think it is time to ditch the dummy your health and dental practitioner can provide you with tips and support.

It is usually recommended to try wean your child off the dummy by the age of 2 ✌️
